Also, I manage PLEX via Internet Explorer running on a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit system and the PLEX dashboard keeps changing to the PLEX web login screen after a few minutes of being logged into my local server (if I'm not already logged in) and it never used to do that, so something changed at PLEX.
I haven't changed any settings since it last worked correctly. It still pulls the name of the movie, director, and cast but it doesn't fetch the description, movie rating, or the movie posters.
PLEX stopped downloading complete metadata after June 16th, 2017 (the last time I have a record of a complete metadata download).
